This is a rescue mission, a design disruptor quest. We’re going to break it all down, cut it up and rebuild it. There's a new generation of flavor savers, inspirational recyclers, and bricolage mastery happening. (e.g. Gab Bois) Taking cues from a few practitioners, we’ll embark on a ‘hands-on’ quest to create some treasures from waste streams. We’ll develop a few simple building techniques, share some experiments and finally create some objects, hopefully leading to inspired creation, outside the perfection we exist within. Serendipitous but critical work will be required!
