This is a sixteen week beginning course introducing the concepts, practices, and techniques necessary to perform stop motion animation by sampling several different variations of it's forms: (1) Found Objects Animation (2) Clay Animation (3) Paper Animation (4) Pixilation Animation (5) Puppet Animation (6) Final Project Animation. The degree of sophistication grows with each succeeding assignment allowing the student to begin building the basis of a good student reel.
