In this course, our focus is on explorative play. This is your opportunity to try out every ridiculous idea or interesting thought you’ve had. Is there a project that you’ve been afraid to create because of how absurd it sounds in your mind? Make it and see where it takes you.
You will create a new project every three weeks with open-ended prompts and themes. Given the tight timeline, you will need to explore ideas quickly and finish projects within the time restraints. Doing so will help you improve time management skills and create a variety of work. To pass the class, you will also have to photograph your work and write artwork statements for each piece.
