This course focuses on the preparation and execution of digital cinematic works, with additional attention given to concept development, editing and sound. Experimental and documentary techniques will be explored, with a primary emphasis on narrative cinema. Students will learn production crew roles and responsibilities, professional protocols, collaborative skills and teamwork, while also cultivating their own singular artistic voice. Historical and theoretical concept will work in tandem with practical problem-solving and craftsmanship in the development and critique of all works shown in class.
