This course is an introduction to the methods and tools of visual storytelling.
Students will learn to create story images from written/spoken ideas, to develop these images and ideas into a clear and dramatic narrative arc supported by traditional visual structure components and edit these images into an emotionally satisfying story reel (animatic). Students will learn to give and receive criticism of their work in a collaborative environment.
