Looking for your Moodle course?

For new students, please read through this post to help you find your classes in Moodle. Be sure to read the note at the bottom about the beginning of the semester!

If you are unable to locate your course under My Courses, try changing the view filter on your Course Overview (located on the My Courses page) to "all." Another way is to use the filter to view your past, in-progress, or future courses. If you have many classes, there may be an arrow button near the bottom of the screen. Click on the arrow button to view more courses.

Alternatively, you can find a list of all of your courses by going to your profile photo in the upper-right and using the drop-down menu to get to your Profile.

If you used to have access to a course, but it seems to have disappeared, it has most likely changed status. This can happen, especially if the course is about to start or has recently ended. You should be able to locate it by adjusting your Course Overview filter or going to your Moodle profile.

If you are still unable to locate your course after trying these two methods, contact the Help Desk!

Important note about the beginning of each semester for students:

While there is an official "first day" of the semester on the CCA Academic Calendar, some Moodle courses may not be available to students until closer to the first session of the class (for example, the first day of the semester is on a Tuesday, but if a class is scheduled to meet on Monday each week, the Moodle course may not be available until closer to the following Monday). Some teachers may also choose not to use Moodle for their course - please check with your instructor and/or the course syllabus listed on Portal for more information.
